School Holiday Vacation Care Program - April 2026

Join us for an exciting Southern Hills Vacation Care Program running from April 6th–20th, 2026! Our fun-filled schedule offers a mix of creative activities, themed days, incursions, and exciting excursions designed to engage children of all interests. From embarking on a Pirate’s Journey and getting active at The Movement Factory, to hands-on creativity with string, wool, and World Art Day, there’s something for everyone. Children will also enjoy special experiences like the Nature Seekers Junk Yard Adventure incursion, a visit to Cockburn Wetlands, and an unforgettable trip to AQWA. Dress up for our Disney/Pixar/Marvel Day, take part in a real-life Monopoly challenge, and celebrate our planet with Earth Day activities. With a focus on fun, creativity, and exploration—alongside safe supervision by trained staff—this program promises a memorable and enriching school holiday experience!

THE MOVEMENT FACTORY

Let’s get moving. Join in our fun games and activities. Participate in the DANCE WORKSHOP INCURSION. Wear sporty clothes

Thursday 9th April

EXCURSION: COCKBURN WETLANDS

Explore the wetlands and learn about the Snake Neck turtle and lunch at BIBRA LAKE playground. Enclosed shoes a must.

Friday 10th April

THE WONDERS OF STRING & WOOL

Help us to discover the many ways we can use string and wool in vacation care.

Monday 13th April

NATURE SEEKERS JUNK YARD ADVENTURE INCURSION

Imagine, explore, build, create as the Nature Seekers guide us through a Junk Yard Adventure

Tuesday 14th April

EXCURSION: AQWA

Look out for Sharks as we partake in Kwila, Kwila program at AQWA Depart 9.00 am Return 3.00pm

Wednesday 15th April

WORLD ART DAY

Calling all artist, help us celebrate world art day with a variety of art-based activities

Thursday 16th April

DISNEY/PIXAR/MARVEL DAY

Are you a hero or a villain or perhaps a princess in disguise? Dress up in your favourite character and join in the activities

Friday 17th April

MONOPOLY

Race around our real-life monopoly game, complete the tasks and earn SH dollars to purchase from the Monopoly bank

Monday 20th April

OUR EARTH

Earth day is nearly here, lets celebrate with activities and games

Make sure to remind children to bring a hat, water bottle, shoes, and sun-safe clothes for outdoor activities. Ensure all necessary permissions and waivers are obtained for excursions and incursions.
